How To Remove or Delete Locked Widget In Blogger

Do you have a blog and facing problem in removeing any Locked widget like Powered By Blogger.Which is a locked widget and not deletable.SO if wants to remove this type of widget you must try this trick.


Note: Before Doing Any action Backup Your template.

Steps For Delete Blogger Widgets:-

Step 1: Log in to your blogger Account.

Step 2: Click On Template which is placed left side.

Step 3: Here Click On Edit Html

Step 4: now can you will see the coding window like this 

Here Select Which Widget You want to delete.for choose your widget select Jump To Widget

Now Select Your Widget,See The Bellow Image.

Now Select entire Code Like Bellow .

<b:widget id=’Widget ID‘ locked=’true’ title=’Widget title‘ type=’Blog’>YOUR WIDGET CONTENT CODES APPEAR HERE</b:widget>

Now Change Locked=true To False. Then Save template.Now go to layout And Select your Widget ,this time you can delete that widget.Now your widget has been successfully removed.
